The internet is a great place to make money and many are doing it by building virtual real estate empires online. Virtual real estate empires, or VRE’s, are websites that are built for one purpose: to invite traffic and, ultimately, to sell ad space, which will then bring you a profit. Some people are taking that one website and turning it into many websites, which means they are making even more money. The best part is that they don’t have to do a thing. Just by having the website accessible, and by driving traffic to that site by posting (your own or PLR) articles on a specific subject, or anything else people will search for, they are making great money with very little work. You simply post a website, write the articles, and wait for people to visit. What could be easier than that?

Choose Your Niche

In order to build a virtual real estate empire online, you must choose a market. This is the subject matter your articles will discuss. This can include anything from your favorite hobby, your favorite sport, your favorite cooking recipes, or anything else that comes to mind. The niche should be something that others will search for. If the niche is popular enough, then search engines will include your site in their searches, driving more and more traffic to your site.

How You Make Money

The goal of building your virtual real estate empire online is to make money and you do that by selling ad space and/or placing affiliate links on your site. Ad services, such as those provided by Google and others, pay you every time someone clicks on the ad on your site. So, if your site receives enough visitors, you can get paid very handsomely just by having your site up and running. It’s an easy way to make money and all it requires is for you to post the articles.

Your Virtual Empire

The more websites you build, the more your virtual real estate empire will grow online. You can even include links to all your other websites on your original website, which will increase your revenue and will also increase the chances that your website, or websites, will be listed higher on search engines. If you want to make money on the internet, and you’re looking for a way that’s easy and fun, then a virtual real estate empire online is the best way to go about it.

OK, well I was going to write about my experiences outsourcing work today but instead I came across an article by Jonathan Leger that I thought was perfect for this blog. The article is called Giving your business a shave with Occam’s Razor.

If you don’t know Jonathan Leger is one of the bigger Internet marketers out there. He is behind one of my favorite products 3waylinks.net. Moreover, he is one of the few Internet marketers who I can honestly call honest.

He actually provides really useful products that actually help you make money. He doesn’t promise things he can’t deliver on. Plus, he provides really good and useful blog posts (I only wish he posted more often).

Basically, this article is about how you should always seek to improve and if possible simply your business. There are always going to be things you can improve on and always things you can simplify. By doing these things you can greatly improve your long term business results.

I highly recommend you read the article since I think it perfectly captures the type of philosophy I am trying to create with this blog. Trust me it is well worth the read.
